Just came galloping over when I got an alert for this from Ents 24, the tickets are only £5! Does that mean it's not a proper gig? Maybe some sort of mini festival?

Just to give you an idea...  I saw James from Starsailor at The Aftershow Moho Live last year.  The tickets were almost the same price.  5 bands played.  James was the headliner and he performed 7 songs.  A nice gig Smile

    Interesting...thanks!

Do we think all the members of The Music will be playing, or just some of them?

Apparently, it'll be an acoustic set with just Mr Harvey (and may be Adam) playing.  When James from Starsailor played though, Ben and Stel (the drummer and the guitarist of the band) were in the audience Smile.

Acoustic? *tries to imagine, fails* Well that would be intriguing...not sure I'd be making the trip from South Wales to Manchester just for that though. When I break my The Music virginity it has to be a full on earsplitting, stamina busting, voice ruining moshfest hehe.

I was wondering that's what the post above meant (about it being mainly Rob with possibly Adam) Thanks for confirming :)

Wink.  If I can find a plane ticket at a reasonable price, may be I'll do the travel.  For the moment, I'm thinking...Cool.

Yeah, it's even further for you...any chance there might be more than one appearance to make it worth it? I'm thinking festivals etc...or even my front room..*makes space*

Has there been much acoustic stuff before? Did they do the rocky songs, or concentrate on the slower ones?

    Re: Moho Live

No news about an appearance in festivals, as far as I know.  The only real acoustic gigs I know are St Louis and Denver a few years ago.  Mr Harvey performed slow songs (Fun Of It, Love, Job...).  He DJed here and there more recently and did a small acoustic set in addition.  But I was not there Wink.

     Theano...sometimes I love you... :) :)

I would be so very much IN for this!! I have heard the acustic stuff from Denver a few years back and was blown away. I would love to see them do something different...Manchester road trip anyone?? :)

Is there any more information about this??

Bah, I've not seen them at all yet - just missed them in Cardiff last time *snivels*

Maybe this is the start of a wider bout of touring. I'm still stupidly hoping they might support Muse this autumn....would make all that fighting for tickets doubly worthwhile Big Smile
