hey guys i've been a music fan from the very beginning and have everything they've ever done as i'm sure most of you have, i've been a member of this forum for a while too but never really posted many things so i just thought i'd start a new topic and see if i got any feedback, hope you dont mind. answering my question my favourite tracks on the album are the spike, the left side, vison and no weapon sharper than will, going to see them again in leeds on wednesday cant wait, well thanks for letting me have my say, hope to here from you guys soon. olly

Welcome !  My fave songs are Strength In Numbers, The Spike, Fire, Idle (since I heard it live)...  I like all the B-sides, mainly The Price and Symbol of Hope.  But my fave song by The Music is and will always be The People, the first one I ever heard .

No Danger is a clear standout for me. Easily my favorite song on the album.

Idle is also very impressive.

SIN, The Spike, Idle, Get Through It are my current favourites. I also like The Last One and Cold-Blooded with their eighties darkwave sound.

the left side is definatly my favourite track, also idle and price.

 I'd have to say The Price, The Spike, Get Through It, No Danger all coz there good to play along too!

Really love the new album in particular......Drugs, The Left Side, the Spike and No Danger (incredible) never thought they would top The Walls but respect lads I think you did it

gotta be left side and vision. like 30 secs in on vision where the guitar appears is ridiculous n love the lyrics. left side v dark but more like the musics older stuff. not a fan of idle, get thu it, SIN im afraid. i was on the shoot for SIN and had to hear it like a million times so just sick of it. Good lp overall

in my opinion the music haven't made one single song that is not good. i got 3 favorite bands and when i'm listening to a cd from 1 of my other favorite bands thers is allways a song that you skip. with these 3 cd's and one dvd i never skip a song cause they are all good. that's why i think these guys are my favorite. but if i have name out a song that will be Fire. best song on the album. no doubt. older songs: Too high and One way in no way out.  

cheers for your replys guys, must say that i saw them in leeds town hall last wednesday and it was the best i've ever seen them play they were note perfect on every song, i really think this is i gunna be there time to shine and reaaly believe that they'l hit the big time, although does anyone else agree that i kinda feel as though i have a close bond wi the band as i've grown up with them and seen there music change from the very beginning to the present and i kind of like the fact that the music aren't massive and really big in the charts, as they still play small intimate gigs which makes it feel even better? although having said that i think if anyone out there deserves there shot at the big time its these guys. olly  

My fav. 2 are Spike and Fire.Seen them in Manchester twice in the last couple of months.Superb.People is my favourite but I thought Getaway live was the best of the lot.

I don't have a particular favorite song as I think the album is great in it's entirety but the stand out tracks which make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck our as follows:

 * Strength In Numbers (What A Comeback Single)

 * Drugs (Love The Bass In This Song)

 * Fire (Makes Me Wanna Dance)

I would say that there is really only one tune that I would ever dream of skipping and that is SIN. Idle live is magical, The Price is a cracker and Left Side and Cold Blooded are incredible. Probably my favourite tune from the past is Cessation. All in all, there is no other band out there that match these boys.
